Lucas Hermeto is a Partner in the Rio de Janeiro office of Vieira Rezende Advogados. A dispute resolution specialist, Lucas works in business structuring and in the resolution of highly complex disputes, with a focus on corporate and investment fund matters.
His recent experience includes representing pension funds and investment funds in some of the largest and most complex lawsuits and arbitrations in the country, in disputes involving their investments.
Lucas also represents major companies in the financial, energy, oil and natural gas, construction and technology sectors in national and international arbitrations and major lawsuits.
Its activities also include advisory services on strategic matters and administrative proceedings (before CVM, CRSFN, Previc, Audit Courts, etc.), particularly in corporate and investment fund matters.
Lucas also works in academia. He is the author of articles on topics related to Business Law and Arbitration and is a Visiting Professor in the Department of Commercial Law at the Pontifical Catholic University (PUC-RJ), where he currently teaches Corporate Law.
