Oriol Valentí i Vidal

Oriol Valentí is a Partner in the Barcelona office of RocaJunyent. A specialist in dispute resolution, Oriol has extensive experience in domestic and international arbitration, and advises on complex transnational litigation, commercial and contractual disputes, as well as disputes arising from the sale and purchase of company shares, corporate law and directors’ liability.

His clients include local and international business groups, both industrial and financial. He is an expert in cases involving multiple jurisdictions and procedural rules.

He combines his legal practice with teaching at Pompeu Fabra University and ESADE Law School. He frequently publishes articles on arbitration issues, is a regular speaker at industry conferences and appears regularly in the main national and international legal directories.

Member of the Consulate of the Sea (Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona), as well as of the Arbitration Commission of the Barcelona Bar Association.

In addition to a double degree in Law and Business Administration from Pompeu Fabra University, Oriol holds a Diploma in Legal Studies from Oxford University and an LL.M. from Harvard Law School. He is admitted to practice law both in Spain and in the State of New York and is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and the Spanish and Ibero-American Arbitration Club (CEIA).

Oriol speaks English, Portuguese, French, Spanish and Catalan.
