Anders Ryssdal

Anders Ryssdal is one of Norway’s most highly respected dispute resolution specialists. He has argued a great number of cases before Norwegian and international courts, has extensive experience with arbitration and serves regularly as arbitrator. Anders is top ranked under Dispute Resolution in Chambers 2023 and Legal 500.

He has brought 30 cases before the Supreme Court, of which 6 cases in plenary and grand chamber. He was the Norwegian member of the ICC Court of Arbitration 2010-2016. . He often serves as president of arbitration panels.

Anders’ particular expertise is in disputes and arbitrations over contracts law, limited liability law, company law, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), securities trading law, financial market law, competition law, public law and international law. He oversees parallel processes in several countries.
